How to Look Up Web History Dates and Times
Most Web browsers leave behind records of the websites visited by users; they include detailed information concerning the exact dates and times the websites were visited. These records are recorded and stored in the browser's "History" folder for up to a year or more, depending on the storage settings selected by the user. Finding out the exact dates and times certain websites were visited is fast and easy.

Using Mozilla Firefox

Select "History" from the menu bar. Click on "Show All History" in the drop-down menu to open the Library (the list of sites).

Double-click on "Today," "Yesterday," "Last 7 Days" or "This Month" to open and view the recorded webpage links. Depending on your browser's history settings, Firefox may display links that were visited 6 months ago or longer.

Click "Views" and select "Show Columns." Select "Visit Date" from the available column display options. The "Visit Date" column that appears at the far right of the history list will show you the exact date and time for visited websites.

Use the "Search History" text field to find specific websites in the browser's history. When finished, click on the "X" at the top-right corner of the window to close the Library.
Using Internet Explorer

Click on the "Star" icon at the top right-hand corner of the menu and tab bar. At the drop-down window, click the "History" tab and select "View by Date" from the drop-down menu.

Select the categorized day or week containing the saved Web links. Locate and click on the folder that corresponds to the website whose pages you're looking for.

Right-click the desired webpage link, and then select "Properties." Locate the "Last Visited" line to view the date and time the page was last visited. Click "OK" to close the window.
Using Google Chrome

Click the "Tools" icon at the top right-hand corner of the menu bar. Select "History" from the drop-down list.

View your browsing history under the "History" tab that appears alongside the usual browsing tabs. The webpage browsing history is organized by date, which is prominently shown at the top of each list for that date. The exact time that you first accessed the page in question is shown to the left of the listed page.

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific websites in the browser's history. Click the "X" to the right of the tab to exit the page when finished.

Tips & Warnings
In Firefox, you can use the Library to edit tags and bookmarks after viewing your browsing history. Select the "Tabs" or "All Bookmarks" icons in the left-hand frame to access these functions.
