Instructions
-
Greaser
-
1
Pull on a sleeveless muscle shirt, plain white t-shirt or plain button-down shirt. The Greasers favored these shirt styles.
-
2
Put on blue jeans and roll the bottoms up to make a small cuff.
-
-
3
Add a sleeveless denim vest or denim jacket to the ensemble.
-
4
Put on dark-colored Converse sneakers.
-
5
Add pomade to your hair and fix it in a "pompadour" style, slicking the sides back and letting the front fall forward. The hair should have a slicked and greasy appearance.
Soc Girl
-
6
Put on a pretty, feminine sweater that is solid colored. A button-down shirt can go under the sweater, if necessary. The more conservative, the better.
-
7
Add a plaid schoolgirl-style skirt to the outfit. It shouldn't be too short.
-
8
Finish the outfit with knee socks and loafers, or just loafers.
-
9
Fix hair by curling the ends and pulling one side up with a hair barrette. Cherry has red hair in the movie, so if you want to wear a red wig or color your hair temporarily red, that will add more authenticity to the costume.
Soc Boy
-
10
Put on khaki, pressed pants.
-
11
Add a white, button-down shirt.
-
12
Put on a sweater vest or conservative long-sleeved cardigan sweater over the button-down shirt.
-
13
Add loafers.
-
14
Comb the hair in a conservative style, but leave out any hair product.
