A belt can serve many purposes when it comes to accessorizing. Belts can be selected to complement your own personal fashion style, or they can simply hold garments in place. One way to add a personal touch to your belt, or to simply update the look of an old one, is to add a unique belt buckle.   • Belt
  • Belt buckle
  • Pliers
  • Hammer

Instructions

      Lay the belt out flat with the back facing up. Unfasten the snaps (this may require the use of pliers), and remove the existing belt buckle if there is one.

      Slide the end of the belt through the hoop on the new belt buckle. Make sure the back of the belt buckle is facing the same way as the back of the belt.

      Close the snaps. You may need to use a hammer to lightly tap the snapping mechanisms closed if they were difficult to undo in Step 1. Test the snaps by tugging on the belt and buckles simultaneously to make sure the snaps are secure.
