How to Log Out of Facebook HTC Sense on an Evo Shift

All HTC Evo smartphones have native Facebook functionality via HTC Sense.

The HTC Evo Shift 4G runs on Google's open source Android operating system, combined with HTC's custom Sense interface. HTC Sense adds many features to HTC's line of smartphones, including the native ability to sync your device with social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. This allows you to receive status updates, make posts and further interact with social networks without downloading an additional application. Add and remove Facebook accounts from your HTC Evo Shift 4G at your leisure.

Instructions

1. Tap the Menu button at the Home screen.

2. Choose "Settings" from the list of options that appear at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select "Accounts & Sync" from the list of options.

4. Tap on the Facebook account that you wish to log out of and press "Remove Account" to log out.

Tips & Warnings

• This process is the same for all other types of accounts that can be synced with the HTC Evo Shift 4G and HTC Sense.

• Sign in to another Facebook account by accessing the "Accounts & Sync" menu and tapping "Add Account."

• Removing a Facebook account will affect areas of your device that were synced with that account, including your contacts and the HTC Sense Friend Stream. Contacts that appeared solely because of your Facebook affiliation will be removed, and you will no longer receive status updates for Facebook friends in your Friend Stream unless you sign in again with another account.
