How to Chat on eBuddy
eBuddy is a Web-based messenger that integrates instant messaging platforms such as MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM. eBuddy allows you to chat online from any computer at any time without installing any software. You can also use the mobile version of eBuddy from any cell phone that has Internet access. eBuddy provides access to multiple chat platforms, eliminating the need to launch software and sign in to each chat account individually.

Navigate to eBuddy.com.

Locate the sign-in section of the eBuddy homepage. Click the name of the messenger to which you want to sign in. Alternatively, click "eBuddy iD" to access multi-network chat. Signing in with your eBuddy iD automatically logs you in to each of the chat accounts linked to your eBuddy iD.

Enter your username and password and click "Sign In."

Double-click a contact's name to start a new chat with that person. A tab displaying the contact's name will appear at the top of the window. Click the different tabs to switch between chats. A number will appear on the tab when you have an unread message in that chat.

Send messages in a chat window by entering text into the window and hitting "Enter" or clicking the Send button to the right of the text field.

Tips & Warnings
Click "Themes" at the upper right corner of the screen to customize the eBuddy look. Click on the theme you want and click "Done" to apply it.
Click "Options" at the upper right corner of the screen to edit your eBuddy settings. Click the "Buddylist," "Chatting" and "General" buttons to customize different settings. Examples include how eBuddy sorts your contact lists and displays contacts that are offline. Click "Done" to apply the new settings or "Cancel" to revert to old settings.
