1
Make a drawing of how you want your headband to turn out. Make two drawings -- one of how you want the front to look like, and one of how you want the back to turn out. This will act as a template.
-
2
Cut the mesh in half. Cut out the back and front mesh shapes from the two halves of mesh according to your template. Use a contrasting fabric marker to mark the mesh if you're going to cut out a complex shape.

-
3
Glue the two mesh cut-outs onto your headband with a glue gun. Dab small dots of glue onto the headband, don't use too much -- it will show when it dries.
-
4
Let the headband dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
-
5
Embellish your headband with rhinestones, stones and beads. Glue them on with your glue gun. Make sure the glue is dry before trying on your headband or the glue will stick to your hair and pull out the hair.
