How to Hide Images on Facebook

How to Hide Images on Facebook thumbnail
You can hide Facebook images from everyone or just certain Facebook friends.

Facebook lets you upload and share photos and other types of images with friends, family, coworkers or even the entire public if you wish. Your images appear to your Facebook friends by default. If you want to hide certain images from certain people---or from everyone---you can do so by visiting the albums in which the photos appear. You cannot set custom privacy preferences for single photos. You must apply the changes to the entire album in which they appear.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into Facebook and click "Profile" at the top of the site, then click the Photos tab on the left side of the site to view your photo albums.

    • 2

Click a photo album cover to view the album's dedicated page on your Facebook profile. Click the "Edit Album" link under the album title to open an album's settings panel.

    • 3

Click the Privacy drop-down menu in the album settings panel and select Friends of Friends or Friends Only to restrict viewing permissions to just those groups. Select Customize to specify certain individuals and lists to show the album to or hide it from, or to limit the album to "Only Me."

    • 4

Click the "Save" button to lock in the privacy changes and close the album settings panel. You can edit the privacy settings as often as you choose.
