"Millionaire City" is a popular online game for Facebook, created by software company Digital Chocolate. The game involves amassing an empire built on wealth and acquisitions, such as businesses and real estate. Your character also can acquire gold, which strengthens your wealth and standing within the game.

Complete the missions that offer gold bars as a reward. When you first start playing the game, missions will be offered for you to accept, such as purchase and turn around a struggling business. The rewards for beginning missions are new houses, commerce and decorations. As the missions become harder, the rewards become greater. Many of the hardest missions offer gold bars as a reward. By completing them, you can build up your gold reserves and increase your points and ranking.

Use Facebook credits to exchange in the game for Millionaire City Gold. When you come across gold, purchase it using your online game money -- selecting the gold with your mouse and clicking "Purchase" on the menu screen. If you do not have enough money in Facebook dollars, you can use actual money to purchase more credits by selecting "Add Dollars" on the menu screen. Then enter the desired purchase amount and your billing information on the subsequent screens.

Win gold by entering "Millionaire City" competitions and winning the prize gold. In addition to completing missions, players regularly host competitions among the community members. Competitions such as "Who Can Create The Alien Friendly City?" and "Who Can Create The Most Populated Skyscraper?" have a deadline and a set of rules to follow. The prize is often, but not always, gold. To find which competitions are ongoing and available, select the "Competition" tab from the menu on the left side of the screen.
