Fill a tub or sink with lukewarm water and add the recommended amount of a mild detergent that is nonallergenic. Typically, it will be about two capfuls or 2 tsp. of detergent.
-
2
Move the scarf through the water with gentle back and forth movements. Because it is a natural fiber, it will regain its shape as it dries.

3
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all the detergent is washed away.
-
4
Roll up in a dry towel several times until all of the excess water is removed. Do not twist and wring out the water because it can damage the scarf and its shape.
