How to Align Text in a Web Page

Give your page a clean, easy to read look by aligning paragraphs. Use HTML codes for maximum accessibility.

Instructions

1. Open the page in a text editing program, such as EditPad or Notepad.

2. Place the cursor in front of the paragraph to be aligned.

3. Align the paragraph by typing the following:

   . Use either left, right or center.

4. Close the tag by typing the following: . Replace 'left' with the alignment you chose.

5. Save the file and open the page in a web browser to view the changes.

Tips & Warnings

• The alignment tag can be used for several paragraphs. Insert the closing tag after the last paragraph to be aligned.
