A Creative Christmas Decoration Using Sauce Bottles

Part of the excitement of the Christmas season is planning your home decor to celebrate the occasion. It can be difficult to come up with different creative ideas each year. One eco-friendly idea is to make your own Christmas decorations using sauce bottles, which can be placed on tables or a mantel.

Things You'll Need

• Sauce bottle(s)
• Adhesive remover
• Soap
• Tarp or newspapers
• Rubber or plastic gloves
• Spray paint
• Gold glitter paint pen
• Ribbon

Instructions

1. Remove any labels on the sauce bottle with an adhesive remover. Wash the bottle thoroughly and allow it to dry.

2. Set up a workspace in a well-ventilated area or go outdoors. Place a tarp or newspapers on the work surface. Wear rubber or plastic gloves.

3. Use spray paint appropriate for glass or heavy plastic. Spray a thin coat of paint on the sauce bottle. Allow it to dry. Add as many light coats as needed to cover it completely.

4. Write "Christmas [Year]" with a gold glitter paint pen on the front of the bottle.

5. Tie a large red, green or gold ribbon around the neck of the sauce bottle.
