How to Remove a Leather Tag From Levi's

Levi's typically come with a signature leather tag on the back side of the jeans along the belt line. Often this tag is too large or does not match your style, but you still like the cut and fit of the jeans. This leaves you in need of a way to safely remove the tag without damaging the jeans themselves. Using the proper technique allows you to remove all traces of the leather tag quickly.

Work a small pair of scissors or a thread puller under each stitch mark on the outside of the leather tag.

Snip or pull the stitches out one at a time, working your way around the entire label until it pulls off from the jeans.

Snip off or pull out any leftover thread to remove all traces of the label and stitching.
