How to Convert Mind Map to Charts
Mind mapping is a type of visual note taking. A mind map organizes topics or tasks by splitting them into sub-topics or sub-tasks as they branch out from a main idea. The main idea is represented in a large shape, such as a circle, in the center of the diagram. Then lines, or branches, extend from the main idea to connect the sub-topics or sub-tasks. The extensions can continue hierarchically as more levels are added. SmartDraw is a visual communication software package that creates mind maps and charts, and can convert one type to the other.
