How to Hide a Link and Send It on Facebook
Facebook lets you send links as status updates for your friends, friends of friends or everyone in the world to see, depending on your general privacy preferences. The links appear on your Facebook Wall and in the News Feeds of the parties to whom you permit access. If you want to post a link but share it with a smaller group of people than you normally do, you can tighten the privacy settings for just that post.
