How to Claim the Nexus Cape If You Bought "Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection"

The Nexus Cape can be picked up from a treasure chest in Neptune's Spire.

The Nexus Cape is a bonus item available to people who bought all three "Final Fantasy XI" add-on scenarios, whether separately or as a part of the Ultimate Collection released in November 2009. This enchanted cape allows party members to teleport to their leader's location, as long as it is on the list of approved areas and the player has previously visited the spot. The Nexus Cape cannot be sold or traded. If misplaced or dropped, another cape can be obtained from the Tenshodo treasure coffer.

Instructions

1. Travel to Market Bridge, also known as Lower Jeuno, after loading the Ultimate Collection.

2. Enter a small shop called "Neptune's Spire". Although it appears to rent rooms, this is actually the secret base for the Tenshodo Guild.

3. Move to the end of the hallway and open the door of the Tenshodo Headquarters. Go inside.

4. Click on the red and gold treasure coffer inside the room. Scroll down to the bottom of the contents list.

5. Select "Receive Add-On Trilogy Bonus Gift" from the bottom of the list. The Nexus Cape will appear in the character's inventory.

Tips & Warnings

• In order to enter the Tenshodo Headquarters, the character must be a member of the guild. When speaking to the receptionist, Ghebi, select the blank line (third dialogue option). She will say that an invitation or application form is needed. Receive the application form after talking to Jabber in Port Bastok. He is located in Warehouse 2, located across from the Airship Agency. After speaking to Jabber, head back to Ghebi with the application. A character must be level 20 or higher to qualify for Tenshodo membership.
