How to Stop the Meebo Notifier From Running

The Meebo Notifier application runs in your system tray and automatically runs when you log in to your computer. When you receive an instant message on one of your Meebo accounts, Meebo Notifier pops up a notification message. The notifier application can receive messages even if you don't have the Meebo website open in a browser window. Disable the autostart feature and prevent Meebo from running automatically.

Instructions

1. Right-click the "Meebo" icon in the system tray at the bottom right corner of your screen and select "Preferences." If you can't see the Meebo icon, click the arrow icon at the left side of your system tray to view hidden icons.

2. Click the "Launch Meebo Notifier When Windows Starts" box in the Start-up Options section to clear it.

3. Click the "OK" button to save your settings.

Tips & Warnings

• Close Meebo Notifier if it's already running. Right-click the "Meebo" icon in the system tray at the bottom right corner of your screen and click "Exit."

• Click "Start," select "All Programs," and click "Meebo Notifier" to open the program manually.
