How to Connect an Enviro Filter to a Pfister Faucet

The Enviro filter for your kitchen faucet is one way to enjoy filtered water without having to change out the filter every couple of months. The Enviro filter has a spout on the housing much like your faucet spout. All you do is flip the switch on the filter hose connector by your faucet spout to drink filtered water from the Enviro filter. Connecting an Enviro filter to a Pfister faucet depends on the type of aerator your faucet uses. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the aerator from your Pfister faucet. Use your fingers to turn the aerator counterclockwise for removal.

    • 2

Match up the correct-size aerator adapter that comes with the Enviro filter into the Pfister faucet spout, if your Pfister has threads on the inside of the spout. The aerator adapter threads into the faucet and the other end of the adapter has outside threads for the Enviro filter hose connector. If you have outside threads where the aerator screws, you do not need the aerator adapter.

    • 3

Place the Enviro filter on the kitchen counter next to the sink. Position the filter housing so that the spout on the filter is pointing over the sink.

    • 4

Thread the filter hose connector of the filter onto the Pfister faucet spout until it is hand tight. Run the cold water, and press the side switch on the filter hose connector. The water diverts to the filter housing and through the filter spout.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only run cold water through the Enviro filter.
