How to Get to Jagged Pass on "Emerald"
In "Pokemon Emerald," Jagged Pass is a sloping road that will lead you down Mount Chimney, a volcano in the Hoenn region. Initially, the only way to reach Lavaridge Town is by trekking down this mountainside road. In addition, Jagged Pass is home to several species of wild Pokemon that you may want to add to your growing collection of creatures. The path is accessible after you interrupt Team Magma's schemes.

Travel to Fallarbor Town in northeast Hoenn. At this point in the game, you should have three Gym Badges.

Walk west from Fallarbor Town onto Route 114.

Travel southward through Route 114 to find the entrance to Meteor Falls. When you enter the cave, a cut scene will reveal a dispute between Team Aqua and Team Magma, two villainous organizations. At the end of the scene, the teams will disperse.

Exit the cave and backtrack to Fallarbor Town.

Travel east onto Route 113 and continue walking until you arrive at Route 111.

Walk southward along Route 111 until you find a road that leads west onto Route 112.

Enter Fiery Pass in the north section of Route 112. Follow the underground trail beneath Mount Chimney until you emerge in the south section of Route 112.

Walk to the cable car station and ride the cable car to the top of Mount Chimney.

Defeat the Team Magma members atop the volcano. Their Pokemon range between levels 20 and 25, so bring a team of Pokemon that can match those levels. Use healing items between battles if necessary.

Collect the Meteorite item that the leader of the enemy group leaves behind.

Travel south until you find a gap in the ashen trees. This is the entrance to Jagged Pass.
