Greasing a pan and then lining it with parchment paper can ensure that a baked loaf of bread or a cake will not stick. While it's easy to grease any pan, because parchment paper often comes in long rolls you may wonder how to accurately size and cut out a sheet to fit into your baking pan. Things You'll Need

  • Baking pan
  • Cooking spray
  • Parchment paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Instructions

      Spray your baking pan with cooking spray.

      Unroll a large sheet of parchment paper on a flat surface. The sheet must be at least as large as the pan.

      Place the pan on top of the parchment paper and trace the dimensions with a pencil. Cut out the paper with scissors.

      Place the paper inside of the greased pan. It should fit perfectly.

      Grease the top of the parchment paper with cooking spray.
