How to Get Dragonair in Pearl
In the "Pokemon" video games, Dragon-type Pokemon are rare but powerful monsters. For example, in "Pokemon Pearl," you will only find Dragonair, a serpentine creature, in a specific cavern within the massive Mount Coronet. Dragonair has the ability to change the weather at will and can utilize an assortment of elemental attacks, including Electric-, Fire- and Ice-type moves.

Fly to Hearthome City in central Sinnoh.

Walk through the city's western gate to enter Route 208.

Travel westward through Route 208 and enter a section of Mount Coronet.

Travel from the southeast corner of the cavern to the northwest corner.

Surf east across the pond in the north section of the cave. You will shortly find land.

Walk east and use the Rock Climb ability to scale the wall in the northeast corner of the cavern.

Climb a set of stairs to the next level of the cave.

Navigate to the doorway in the northwest section of this cavern.

Follow the winding path upwards until you emerge at the snowy point on the exterior of the mountain.

Walk northeast until you find a wall with tracks on it.

Use the Rock Climb ability to reach the next walkway.

Travel east along the ledge and enter the cave.

Walk west through the cave. You will find an area with a waterfall.

Surf into the water and use the Waterfall ability to ascend the waterfall.

Fish with the Super Rod until you hook a wild Dragonair. Dragonair's appearance rate is only 5 percent, so this step may take a while to complete.

Weaken the wild Dragonair with attacks. The Pokemon will be between levels 15 and 40, so adjust the strength of your attacks so you don't knock it out before you have a chance to capture it. Ice- and Dragon-type attacks may knock Dragonair out in a single hit.

Throw a PokeBall to capture Dragonair.
