How to Get a Draconic Visage in "RuneScape"
The dragonfire shield is a powerful piece of armor in the world of "RuneScape." This amazing shield absorbs and stores power and energy from the fiery breath of dragons. The wearer uses the shield to turn those stored resources against dragons, thereby fighting fire with fire. To create this mighty weapon, you will need a draconic visage. You can buy this very pricey treasure from the Grand Exchange, but only occasionally. The best way to get a draconic visage is to kill the high-level dragons that may, in rare cases, drop one upon death. You must have a paid member account to possess a draconic visage.

Withdraw your anti-dragon shield, which you must never approach angry dragons without. Get your best armor, some anti-fire potions and some very good food.

Kill black dragons. They reside in the Taverley Dungeon, in the Evil Chicken Lair and in the Wilderness Dungeon. These beasts have a Combat skill level of 227, do not retreat and have 1,990 lifepoints. They drop dragon bones and black dragonhide at every kill. Black dragons often drop other very good loot, including the very rare draconic visage.

Kill frost dragons. They are located in the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon and have a Combat level of 166. These dragons do not retreat and have 1,610 lifepoints. Each frost dragon you kill will drop dragon bones. Many also drop good loot which may rarely include a draconic visage.

Kill iron dragons and steel dragons. You will find them in the Brimhaven Dungeon, Kuradal's Dungeon and the Frozen Fortress -- which is west of the Frozen Waste Plateau. Neither iron nor steel dragons will retreat. The irons have a 189 Combat level and 1,650 lifepoints. Steels have a 246 Combat level and 2,150 lifepoints. Both types of dragons drop dragon bones when they die. Additional drops are very good loot and occasionally include a dragon visage.

Kill king black dragons. This monster has a Combat level of 276, does not retreat and has 2,400 lifepoints. King black dragons are very difficult and dangerous to access, because they are located only in Level 41 Wilderness near the Lava Maze. Fight the four Lesser Demons to get to the ladder. Climb down and run through the Poison Spiders. Pull the lever to get to the king black dragons, which drop dragon bones and black dragonhide when they die. They also drop other valuable loot, and rarely one may drop a draconic visage.

Kill mithril dragons. They live in Otto's Whirlpool in the Baxtorian Falls. These dragons have a Combat level of 304, do not retreat and have 2,540 lifepoints. They drop dragon bones and three mithril bars when they die. Mithril dragons often drop very valuable loot, and rarely one may drop a draconic visage.

Kill skeletal wyverns. These monsters are located at Thurgo's Peninsula under the mountain. They do not retreat. The beast has a Combat level of 140 and 2,000 lifepoints. Skeletal wyverns drop wyvern bones when they die. They drop other very good loot, including the draconic visage on very rare occasions.
