How to Attach a Nib to a Fountain Pen
Taking out the feed and nib from a fountain pen is important because over time, the pen will create a buildup of ink on the nib, making it dirty. This can affect the quality of your fountain pen and make it write poorly. After removing the nib, you may find it difficult to put the pen back together, but it can be done without the use of tools. Reassembling your fountain pen takes a couple of steps.

1
Put the feed into the housing of your fountain pen and rotate it until you feel a catch.
-
2
Lay the nib on top of your feed. If you cannot find where the nib is supposed to go, look for a deeper groove on the feed and line the nib up there.

3
Push both the nib and the feed into the housing. Make sure to align the feed with the nib to ensure accuracy when you write.
