How to Make a Princess Hairbow

Give your daughter a royal gift by making her a princess-themed hair bow. Match the colors to a particular princess the child likes, or use a generic theme. Mix purple, pink and white together, or use fabric ribbons of different textures. Add the small crown button to the hair bow to give it a regal touch. Trim your hair bow to the length you desire.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull some of the ribbon that matches the width of the clip off the spool. Cut off a piece that will cover the flat portion of the clip. Plug in the hot glue gun, and apply a strip of hot glue around the edges of the hair clip. Place the ribbon strip on top of the glue. Do not press down on it. Set the clip aside to dry for 20 minutes.

    • 2

Cut three 12-inch pieces of ribbon from the other spools. Tie the three piece of ribbon into a tight bow.

    • 3

Squeeze a quarter-size drop of hot glue in the middle of the ribbon on the hair clip. Press the bow onto the glue. Hold it in place for 20 seconds. Set it aside to dry for 20 minutes.

    • 4

Spread hot glue on the back of the crown button. Press the button, glue side down, onto the knot of the bow. Hold it in place for 20 seconds and then wait for it to dry.
