Instructions

1
Cut three rectangles from tulle fabric measuring 6 inches wide and 30 inches long.
-
2
Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, and plug in the hot glue gun to heat up for 10 minutes.

3
Place a canvas tote bag flat onto a table top. Squeeze a line of hot glue along the bottom edge of the tote bag; then press half of one of the tulle rectangles on the hot glue. Position the fabric so that the top edge is lined up with the hot glue. Allow the hot glue to cool for two minutes. The remaining half of the rectangle will be hanging loosely.

4
Turn the bag over, and squeeze a line of hot glue along the bottom edge of the other side of the bag. Press the remaining half of the tulle rectangle against the hot glue, lining up the top edge as before. Allow the hot glue to cool for two minutes.

5
Squeeze a line of hot glue along the canvas bag, position the hot glue 1 inch above the edge of the glued tulle rectangle. Press a second tulle rectangle against the hot glue line, as before. Turn the bag over, and repeat this process so that you effectively create a second layer of the tulle tutu. Allow the hot glue to cool for two minutes.
-
6
Repeat this process to add on a third layer of the tulle tutu. Allow the hot glue to cool for two minutes.
-
7
Cut a piece of satin ribbon with scissors to measure 8 inches long. Tie the ribbon into a bow.
-
8
Squeeze a pea-sized dollop of hot glue onto the top of the tutu, and press the satin bow onto the hot glue dollop. Allow the hot glue to cool for two minutes before using the tulle tutu tote bag.
