How to Make Tea Bag Folding Tiles
Tea bag folding got its name from people folding tea bag wrappers. As folders have gotten more creative and tea bag wrappers have become more plain, many people now turn to other sources to find decorative papers to use in their designs. Tea bag tiles can be designed and printed out on a home computer, ensuring a unique design, in just the right color scheme.

Open an image editing software, such as Paint. Open a new file, making your canvas square.

Draw a design that radiates from the lower right corner. The design you draw will be the upper left corner of the tile.

Copy and save this drawing. Open a new file that is square, but double the width and height measurements of your first file. Paste your drawing into the upper left corner.

Copy the image and rotate it 180 degrees. This rotated image is the bottom left corner of your tile.

Copy your original drawing again. Flip it to become a mirror image. This is the upper right corner of your tile.

Copy the upper right corner and rotate it 180 degrees. This is the bottom right corner.

Save your completed tile. Print out as many as you need for your project.
