How to Sell Shirts on Second Life
Selling shirts in the online virtual world "Second Life" is a way to make money and share the byproducts of your creative efforts with other users. In the "Second Life" virtual world users explore the world, socialize, create and sell virtual property. To sell a shirt, you must package it in a box, modify the box for sale, and then place it somewhere residents can find and purchase it.

Open the "Second Life" application and login.

Right click the ground, click "Create" and click on the ground to create a generic box.

Click the "Content" tab on the pop-up window for the new box.

Access your inventory by clicking the "Inventory" button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Select the shirt you are going to sell and drag it over to the "Content" tab.

Click the "General" tab, click the "For Sale" checkbox. Click the "Contents" circle and type a price in L$ for the shirt.

Select the "Buy Object" option in the "When Left-Clicked" drop-down menu. Your shirt is now ready to sell.

Place the shirt for sale in a vacant spot for rent at one of the "Second Life" shopping malls.

Tips & Warnings
Advertise your products to attract additional customers.
Take a picture of a model wearing your shirt and apply it to the sale box as a texture. This way customers can see your shirt without having to open it.
