How to List an Employment Agency on a Resume
As with freelance or contracted work, including a temporary position you secured through an employment agency on your resume is a matter of presentation. The way in which you describe your accomplishments and skills developed during your time in the temp position can demonstrate to an employer what an outstanding candidate you are. How you should list an employment agency on a resume varies depending on your situation.
Instructions

-
1
Include your temporary position in the "Experience" section of your resume. Quint Careers recommends listing the position primarily by the client company, not by the employment agency.
-
2
Write your job position first, followed by the name and the location of the company. For example, "Secretary, Allen & Jackson Inc., Chicago, IL".
-
-
3
Write the window of time during which you completed the job you found through the employment agency. For example, "May 2010 to July 2010" or "December 2010 to present".
-
4
Write that this position was a temporary placement, and include the name of the employment agency which placed you. For example, "Temporary replacement via Jones Agency". If you have been in the temp position for several months or longer, Quint Careers states that you may opt to leave this out of your resume.

Tips & Warnings
If you began as a temp in a position but were later hired full time, include this information after the date. For example, "Secretary, Allen & Jackson Inc., Chicago, IL. December 2010 to present. Temporary placement via Jones Agency; hired full time by A&J, Inc. June 2011."
The Wellesley Center for Work and Service recommends that you list the company name, and do not include the employment agency, if you spent more than one month at the job position.
