How to Gaussian Blur in Photoshop
Gaussian blurring on images produces a softening effect that can smooth out noise in photographs or remove emphasis from an image's background. In Photoshop, the Gaussian Blur option is located under Filters and grouped with other blurring filters, such as Lens Blur and Motion Blur. The difference between Gaussian blurring and other blur effects is the uniform blur it produces, putting the entire image out of focus without distorting its shape.
