How to Weave Bobbin Winders
It may seem difficult to use a bobbin winder because these machines don't wind a bobbin like a traditional sewing machine. They're weaved by following the arrows from left to right, as opposed to weaving from right to left. Once you get the hang of weaving a bobbin winder, you can produce colorful bobbins in a matter of minutes. Each bobbin winder comes with a telescoping spool pin and adjustable tension nob, so you can wind new bobbins using a variety of thread types including cotton, polyester and metallic threads.

1
Lift up on the telescoping spool pin to extend its height. Place the cushion disk over the spool pin and put the thread of your choice over the top of it.
-
2
Guide the thread from left to right, passing through any thread guides and wrapping around the tension nob. Continue guiding the thread from the tension nob to the bobbin back on the left-hand side of the machine. Turn the tension nob clockwise to tighten thread tension and counterclockwise to loosen it.

3
Wrap the thread around the bobbin a few times to secure it. Push the bobbin clip forward so it can guide the thread during the winding process. Press the "on" button and allow the bobbin to wind. Keep your hands free of the thread path.

4
Clip the thread to separate the wound bobbin from the spool of thread, and store it for later use.

Tips & Warnings
Using a bobbin winder reduces stress on your sewing machine, and the need to stop frequently during sewing projects.
Tightening the tension disk too far results in broken thread.
