How to Play "Treasure Isle" on Facebook
If you didn't know already, Facebook is a wildly popular social networking site with several aspects -- one of which is gaming. Few companies are quite as familiar with creating Facebook games as Zynga. They're responsible for such hits as Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker and FarmVille. "Treasure Isle" is now on the company's list of Facebook apps, and isn't a far cry from some of the other hits. If you've played games like FarmVille, then you'll be able to pick up "Treasure Isle" in no time. If not, then you can still learn how to play the game fairly quickly.

Log onto Facebook.com/ztreasureisle.

Sign into your Facebook account if you haven't already done so.

Click the "Play Now" button to start your game. Customize your avatar by clicking the "male" or "female" icon, and then choosing your hair, clothes and accessories.

Click on the squares to begin digging. After you dig up the square, you may find an object. If you find an object, such as a treasure chest, click on it to add it to your collection. Each time you dig, it will expend some energy. You can see how much energy you have by reading the bar at the top of the screen.

Click every square on an island to explore it completely. When you're finished with one island, click the map icon in the bottom corner of your screen to bring up the list of all islands. Click on the next available island to explore.

Purchase any necessary tools to explore islands thoroughly. For instance, you may need a machete to chop down trees. This will cost gold coins. Other objects may cost cash or gems, which can be found randomly. Continue to explore islands to collect these objects to further your progress in the game.

Wait for your energy to refill when you run out. This happens automatically, but it will take from several hours to a day or more to completely recharge. Otherwise, you can pay real money with your credit card or PayPal to get energy.
