1
Drape gossamer fabric to cover walls, doors and areas of the room that are less than attractive. Stand in front of the wall you wish to cover. Screw in a hook in the ceiling above each corner of the wall. String fishing line between the hooks and tie securely. Drape gossamer fabric over the fishing line to hide the wall. Use one color, or mix and match to add interest.

2
Layer your tabletops with gossamer fabric to make a tablecloth, or simply add gossamer on top of existing tablecloths to make a table runner. Secure the runner in place with double-sided tape by lifting the runner, applying the tape to the underside of the fabric and pressing it down onto the tablecloth. Gossamer is a cheap alternative to expensive tablecloths and table runners.

3
Tie large bows with the gossamer fabric and decorate tables and chairs with them. Cut off pieces of gossamer fabric and fold them in half lengthwise. Create bows with the fabric strips as if you were tying your shoe. Use safety pins to attach the bows to the tablecloth at the edge of tables, or to the backs of covered chairs. Because gossamer fabric is so light, it won't pull on the tablecloth or chair cover.

4
Wrap gossamer fabric around columns to add an interesting touch. Start at the top of the column. Place the edge of the fabric on the column and tightly wrap the fabric around until the fabric touches the edge. Pin the fabric in place. Diagonally wrap the remainder of the fabric around the column until you reach the bottom. Wrap it around the bottom once and pin it in place the way you did at the top. Cut off excess fabric.

5
Create a canopy for your balloons with gossamer fabric. Sew several yards of gossamer fabric together, side by side. Screw a hook into the ceiling and hang a piece of fishing line from the hook. Staple the end of the fishing line to the very center of your gossamer fabric. Draw out the corners of the fabric by attaching them to nearby columns. Now you have a decorative way to keep your balloons handy.
