How to Become a Contractor for Dominion

Corporations like Dominion are an excellent choice for contracting goods and services because they have a well-recognized name and an established base of millions of customers, which in turn could mean a steady stream of work for qualified contractors.

Dominion uses qualified contractors to evaluate the HVAC and lighting systems for its business customers, and to install new equipment. To become a Dominion contractor, you must register your company with the Dominion Contractor Network.

• Business license
• Insurance
• Health and safety policy

Instructions

1. Go to the Dominion Contractor Network website. Click the "Register Here" button.

2. Complete the online form with the information requested. You must provide your company's name, a contact name and an email address. Once you've completed the form, click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.

3. Complete the "Service Area" section by providing zip codes for the area locations you are interested in servicing. Separate each zip code with a comma.

4. Check the box next to all services you wish to provide, and enter your business license state and number.

5. Provide your insurance and health and safety policy information by uploading the documents from your computer.

6. Provide your completed W-9 form, either by uploading the document from your computer or by mailing it to the address provided on the screen. If you choose to mail your W-9, click on the word "Print", next to option 2, to print the form and complete it.

7. Read the disclosure provided regarding contractor conduct and check the box next to "I agree".

8. Click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen. You will be contacted by a representative from GoodCents Solutions, Dominion's program administrator, with the next steps in the process.
