How to Clean an Internet Explorer 8 Redirect
Internet Explorer 8 redirects are a symptom of a browser hijacker. A browser hijacker is a malicious program that takes control of your Web browser. In addition to redirecting your Internet searches, taking control of your Web browser often includes changing your Internet homepage and adding toolbars to your Web browser. Fortunately, you can stop Internet Explorer 8 redirects by running a free anti-malware program. To download a free anti-malware program, however, you will need to first temporarily disable the browser hijacker by loading Windows in safe mode with networking.
