How to Make a Bird Pool
A bird pool, also known as a bird bath, is a place for birds to drink and splash as they bathe. A bird pool adds visual interest to your yard and attracts birds to your property. If you love the idea of a bird pool, but do not wish to spend a great deal of money on it, take the time to make your own simple bird pool. Wash a large flower pot and its saucer with soap and water and allow them to dry thoroughly. A clean pot takes adhesive significantly better than a dirty one.

Turn the large flower pot upside down, so that the wide mouth forms a wide base.

Apply a layer of ceramic adhesive to the bottom of the pot.

Center the saucer, facing upward, on top of the bottom of the pot.

Press the saucer to the pot.

Allow the ceramic adhesive to dry thoroughly. The drying time varies by adhesives, so check the packaging.

Set the bird pool where you want it and fill it with water.

Paint the pot before gluing it if you want to add some color to your garden.
