How to Get the Most Wanted Side Mission in "Grand Theft Auto 4"
In "Grand Theft Auto IV," side missions are an ideal way to save up extra cash. Doing side missions, such as Most Wanted, also gets you closer to 100 percent game completion. You access Most Wanted missions through a police car's computer. When you are in a certain area, the computer shows you the Most Wanted criminals in the neighborhood. You must track down and kill all of these criminals to complete the mission.

Find a police car. If you cannot find a parked, unmanned police car, pull out your cell phone. Dial "911" and have a police car sent to your location.

Wait for the car to arrive. The cops arrive and leave the car. Get into the car and drive away before they catch you. This gets you a one-star wanted level, so drive around until it disappears.

Bring the police car to a complete stop. Select "Use" to look at the car's computer. Select the "View Most Wanted" tab.

Highlight and select one of the 10 criminal's names on the list. You get a description of the criminal's last known location. The location is marked on the mini-map.

Go to the marked location. Get out of the car and kill the criminal. If the criminal runs, you may need to get back in the car to chase him down.

Kill the nine other criminals in the area. When all criminals are killed in one area, drive to another area to get a list of 10 more. Kill every criminal on every area's Most Wanted list to finish the mission.

Tips & Warnings
If a cop sees you kill a criminal, he may chase you. Avoid killing any more criminals until your wanted level goes down.
