How to Export a Song From YouTube
When you explore the musical content on YouTube, you may occasionally find songs that you wish you could download and enjoy on a portable audio player. YouTube content is entirely video-based, and YouTube has no built-in option for you to download the audio track from a video. There are several Web-based tools available for this issue. Use a tool with the ability to isolate an audio track from a video to export a song from YouTube and play it on your computer or portable audio player.

Locate a video on YouTube containing music that you want to download. Click and drag with your cursor to highlight the contents of the browser's address bar. A complete URL for a YouTube video looks like "www.youtube.com/watch?v=" followed by an alphanumeric string. Right-click the URL and select "Copy."

Open a new browser window or tab and go to listentoyoutube.com, vidtomp3.com or youtube-mp3.org.

Right-click the text field and select "Paste" to paste the YouTube video URL into the field.

Click the "Standard Quality" or "High Quality" button if you are using listentoyoutube.com or vidtomp3.com to adjust the quality if the audio.

Click the "Go," "Download" or "Convert Video" button.

Click the "Download" or "Download MP3" link on the resulting page to download the MP3 file extracted from the video URL you provided.
