Click the "DIRECTV Programming" option of the menu on the left side of the screen.

A sub-menu listing various options of the base packages appears. Click the "Programming Overview" option to access basic information about different American Satellite DirecTV programming.

Base package: There are four basic DirecTV packages.
Total Choice Family offers over 45 channels appropriate for grown ups as well as kids. This is also the most economical package. It is ideal for families with limited budgets and young children.
Total Choice offers over 155 channels.
Total Choice Plus offers over 185 channels.
Total Choice Premier offers over 250 channels. -

Premium services: Subscribers of premium packages get entertained from several Cinemax, Starz Super Pack, HBO, SHOWTIME UNLIMITED and SPORTS Pack channels.

Sports packages: A treat for those having a keen interest in sports, American Satellite offers a special sports package called SPORTS Pack delighting subscribers with over 25 sports related channels.

American Satellite also offers seasonal sports subscriptions for the following: NBA League Pass, ESPN FULL COURT, ESPN Gameplan, NFL SUNDAY TICKET, MLS DIRECT KICK, MEGA MARCH MADNESS, Setanta Sports, NHL CENTER ICE, MLB EXTRA INNINGS, and Barclays English Premier League.
