Instructions

    • 1

Wear a white button-down shirt with either short or long sleeves. A man's plain white shirt will work well. For a risque look, leave the top unbuttoned, and tie the shirt tails in a knot at the front to leave your midriff bare. Roll up the sleeves for a more casual look.

    • 2

Team the shirt with a pleated skirt, ideally in a plaid fabric. Choose dark colors such as navy, green or deep red. The skirt can be short or knee-length. Roll it over at the waist to make it shorter.

    • 3

Wear a scarf or tie around your neck. Loosen the tie so the knot hangs down. Try and match the color of the tie to the color of your skirt so it looks more authentic as a uniform. Throw a dark sweater around your shoulders or wear a short cardigan in a matching color.

    • 4

Wear long, over-the-knee socks for a sexy look. These should be in a matching dark color or white. Add flat pumps or saddle shoes, or wear high heels.

    • 5

If you have long hair, wear it in braids or pigtails. A high ponytail also works. Draw some freckles on the bridge of your nose with an eye pencil, and add a pair of preppy-style glasses. Pop some gum in your mouth and get chewing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep makeup simple. Schoolgirls often opt for lots of lipgloss and eyeliner.
