How to Remove Etched Water Spots From Windows
Water with excessive amount of minerals is known as hard water. When hard water gets on glass, it leaves deposits. Over time, these deposits etch the glass, making them difficult to remove. Standard glass cleaner is good for cutting through grease, but it's not designed to remove etched hard water spots. One way to prevent this from happening is to dry your windows after they get wet. If it's too late for prevention, you can remove the hard water spots already there.
Things You'll Need

Rub the polishing pad over the hard water spots, without applying too much pressure to the glass. Continue to apply the polish until it begins to dry.
