Instructions

    • 1

Fold the string in half to find the center.

Insert the center of the string into the key chain or hook, or make a knot about one inch from the center fold to leave a loop.

    • 3

Pull the string ends away from one another. The string on the left of the work will always be the left and the string on the right of the work will always be the right no matter which side it starts from.

    • 4

Thread four yellow beads on the left string and bring the right string through the opposite way.

    • 5

String on three brown beads on the left string and bring the right string through the opposite way.

    • 6

String one brown, two tan, and one brown bead onto the left string and bring the right string through the opposite way.

    • 7

String one brown, one tan and one brown bead onto the left string and bring the right one back through the opposite way.

    • 8

Thread four white beads on to the left string and bring the right back through the opposite way. Then thread three white and one tan bead on the left string and bring the left string back through those four and three of the previous four beads. Repeat on the right string.

    • 9

Thread three white beads onto the left string and bring the right string back through the opposite way.

    • 10

Thread four white beads onto the string and bring the right string back through the opposite way.

    • 11

Thread five white beads on the left string and bring the right string back through the opposite way.

    • 12

Thread six white beads on the left string and bring the right string back through the opposite way.

    • 13

Bring the left string back through the second to last row with five beads, the row of four beads, the row of three beads and the row of two beads exiting the two beads on the right. Repeat with the right string to exit the two beads on the left.

    • 14

Thread the left string through the four beads to the tan bead, then thread on four clear beads, then three clear beads, then two clear beads then one clear bead. Bring the same string back through the beads in the opposite direction. Repeat with the right string.
