"NASCAR 09," available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, gives racing fans a realistic gaming option. The game features NASCAR star Jeff Gordon, who guides you through the game's various playing modes. Starting a league in the game is an easy process, and you conduct the league with multiple modes and options.

Instructions

      Load the game into your console and wait for the main menu to appear.

      Choose the type of game mode you want to use for your league. Play in a career league, in which you play multiple, successive seasons and take your driver through the course of his career, or choose the season option for your league to play out just a single year in the racing circuit of your choice.

      Create your league in the series you prefer. "NASCAR 09" features the Nationwide, Craftsman Truck and Sprint Cup options. Nationwide is considered a NASCAR minor league for young drivers. Race pickup trucks in the Craftsman Truck league, while the Sprint Cup is the traditional NASCAR league featuring the top drivers, including Jeff Gordon.

      Choose the number of players you want in your league. This is the number of human-controlled drivers you will have. All NASCAR cars will be in the races, but only the number you specify will be available for you and your friends to control.
