How to Troubleshoot a C11
Xerox's DocuPrint C11 is a color inkjet printer designed for home or office use. Periodically, you may have problems with your printouts. For example, the documents may have ink spots, the ink may seem faded, or the printer may not turn on when you press the "Power" button. In many instances you can troubleshoot problems with the printer yourself.

Check the cable that connnects the printer to the computer. Make sure it is tightly connected. Restart your computer.

Clean the print cartridge if the printout is blurry or distorted. Press and hold the "Power" button and then press "Resume" three times. Release the "Power" button. The printer will automatically clean the cartridges.

Clean the paper feed roller if your printouts have ink spots after feeding through the machine. Press and hold the "Power" buton" and press "Resume" nine times. Release the "Power" button. After the printer stops working, press the "Power" button to power the machine off. Press "Power" again to turn it back on.

Replace the ink cartridges, when the computer alerts you that the ink needs to be replaced. Open the printer cover and press and hold the "Power" button. Press "Resume" once and release the "Power" button. The carriage will position itself so you can remove the old cartridges. Press the release lever above the target cartridge and remove it by pulling the cartridge upward. Remove the sticker from the new cartridge and place it in the same position. Close the cartridge lid.
