How to Fish Up the Mythril Sword in "Final Fantasy XI"
The Mythril Sword is a mid-level item found in "Final Fantasy XI." It is of less value than items made of gold and is generally less effective, but it still ranks above many other items made from cheaper materials. Your best bet at getting a Mythril sword is purchasing one or asking another player to craft one for you; however, it is possible to find one while fishing if you have an abundance of patience and even more luck.

Travel to Qufim Island. You will find this island in the northeast quadrant of your map, just south of Tu'Lia.

Run to the southernmost point on Qufim Island. You will find a long cave that runs to Jeuno.

Stand on the cliffs just to the east of the entrance to Jueno and equip your fishing pole.

Cast a line into the waters near the Jeuno entrance and see what you catch. This is the only location you can expect to find a Mythril Sword in the water, but it may take hundreds of casts before one turns up.
