Managing invoices and financial records for various client companies and groups may, at times, become overwhelming. Instructions

    • 1

Create a new inventory sheet of the items or services purchased that you are creating an invoice for. Because you are creating a group invoice, all of the purchased goods for the project will appear in one bill. You can create an inventory sheet by writing the list of services and goods purchased or by using a program, such as Microsoft Word or Excel.

    • 2

Organize the categories of the services and items purchased. These may be appliances, decorations or service hours such as for web design, manual labor or contracting. Keep all of the purchased items separated for easy viewing and simple calculating when figuring how much you have spent on specific needs.

    • 3

Add all prices of the goods and services for each category individually, giving a total for each type of product or service purchased from a vendor or company.

    • 4

Combine and calculate the complete total of all services rendered and goods purchased at the bottom of your group invoice. Include details and prices of each individual item listed within the invoice for documentation.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep all individual receipts for any project you are required to create invoices for. Make copies of the individual receipts to include within your group invoice for additional documentation.
