How to Use Picture Features on a Media Center PC

You can do a lot with pictures on your Media Center PC. You can create family albums, edit pictures, compile a slideshow and even make movies. Let the fun with your favorite pictures begin!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Start by pressing the "start"’ button on the remote. Go to "my pictures." Select "play slide show." Every picture contained in the folder will be displayed as a slide show.

  2. Step 2

    Add and remove pictures to edit the slide show. You can also create multiple folders and sort pictures in a specific order to view organized slide shows.

  3. Step 3

    Use the "pause" feature to freeze a frame while viewing the slide show. Use the "previous/next" feature to catch up on the slide show.

  4. Step 4

    Edit pictures by pressing the "more info" button. It will display options to view details of the picture and have an "edit picture" option.

  5. Step 5

    Press the "stop" button to end the slide show. Exit from the menu.

  6. Step 6

    Sort pictures by date or name by using the "sort by date" and "sort by name" options, respectively.

  7. Step 7

    Copy and store pictures on your PC to a CD or DVD. This can be done by using the "create CD/DVD" option.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can play your favorite music or track while playing the slide show.
  • You can copy new pictures from your camera, mobile phones and handhelds using the Windows Media Center PC.
