How to Troubleshoot a Frigidaire Oven F1 Code

The "F1" error code indicates a failure of the Electronic Oven Control or EOC circuit board. You may find the oven gets too hot, fails to respond to input or acts irregularly when the EOC is malfunctioning or broken. While this code usually indicates a need for repairs, there are some troubleshooting steps which sometimes resolve temporary or false error codes. If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, the F1 error code requires replacement parts and the attention of a technician.

Instructions

1. Try re-entering or selecting different cooking instructions into the oven controls; the error could have occurred by mistake if you enter incorrect values. Try selecting a different cooking mode as a test. Continue if the error code returns.

2. Press the "Stop/Clear" button to clear the oven's digital display, re-enter instructions into the control panel and press "Start" as normal.
