How to Write a Name on Orkut

On Orkut, you can share your interests and hobbies with others.

Orkut is a social networking community powered by Google, where users share their interests with others, meet new friends or look for a romantic relationship. Users can also insert pictures, videos and scrapbooks into profiles. When signing up for the website, you can choose to write your real name or screen name on your profile. You also can type your name in a different style or font if you choose.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Okrut with your web browser and log into your account. You may also log in with a Gmail account.

2. Click "Settings" at the top of the page and open the "Profile" tab. Go to the "Name" text field and begin typing your name. You may also use Character Map type your name in a different font or style. Go to the "Start" menu, then go to "Programs." Select "Accessories" and go to "System Tools." Choose a font from the drop-down menu, then type in the text box. Click the "Copy" button. Go to the text field, right-click and select "Paste." Your name is now in a different style.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save." Click "Profile" at the top of the page to view your profile. You will notice that your name is on your profile. If you have decided to type it in a different font, your name will appear
