How to Record With HyperCam
HyperCam is a free application that allows you to capture the activity on your desktop screen. Depending on your preferences, you can use the software to record a video chat, a professional tutorial or a specific area on your desktop. Although using recording software for the first time can be frustrating, HyperCam allows you to record and save your desktop activity in a few hassle-free steps.

Open HyperCam. The Screen Area menu will appear automatically in the main HyperCam window.

Click the "Select Region" button if you want to record a specific area on your desktop. If you're using the software to record a video or voice chat, click the "Select Window" button and select the application window.

Click the "Start Record" button to begin recording. The HyperCam window will minimize automatically. To stop recording, press the "F2" button on your keyboard. Once you stop recording, the HyperCam window will appear.

Click the "AVI File" tab at the top of the HyperCam window. The program selects a default file name and destination folder for your recording, which is displayed at the top of the screen. To view your recording, click the "Open Output Folder" button and double-click the file name. The video will open in Windows Media Player automatically.
