How to Fix a Gravy With Too Much Onion
Gravy makes anything taste better. It can be drizzled over warm mashed potatoes, pork chops, country fried steak or any of your favorite meals for an added kick of moisture and flavor. Be careful when making a gravy that calls for onions, as the flavor can be overwhelming if they aren't caramelized first. There are a few things you can do to get your gravy back to normal if you went overboard on the onions. Does this Spark an idea?

Use a spoon to remove as much of the onion as possible so the flavor doesn't seep more into the gravy.

Remove 1/3 cup of gravy from your pot.

Add 1/3 cup of stock.

Add flour slowly if the consistency is too runny. Mix well.

Taste the gravy to see if it needs more of anything else. Add salt and pepper for taste.
