How to Import Favorites into Internet Explorer

The article explains how to import web favorites from another computer or different web browser into Internet Explorer

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open an Internet Explorer window. Click on the “File” menu and select “Import and Export...”

  2. Step 2

    Click the “Next” button in the window that pops up. On the next screen select “Import Favorites” and click “Next.”

  3. Step 3

    On the next screen click “Browse...” and in the window that pops up choose the favorites of bookmarks file you wish to import and click “Open.” Now click the “Next” button.

  4. Step 4

    Now you can choose a specific folder to have your new favorites go into or you can just have them added to the main list by clicking “Next” without choosing a folder.

  5. Step 5

    You're all done, click finish. You can find your new favorites in the Favorites menu of each Explorer Browser window.
